Subject(s): Online resources: Dissertation note: BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science and Analysis. Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, 2018 Summary: A method was established for the estimation of calcium, sodium, potassium in urine using flame photometer and lead, magnesium, cadmium and zinc in urine using flame atomic absorption spectrometer. Method validation in terms of accuracy was carried out by analysing standards and samples multiple times. This study showed that the standards for the above-mentioned metals remained stable throughout this experiment. Very strong linear relationships were observed and as a result high R2 values were generated.
