Summary, etc. Poor management of hedgerows can negatively impact the structure and function of hedgerows, consequently affecting the level of biodiversity it supports. This impact has a roll-on effect and immensely affect bird species diversity. The hypothesise of this research is as follows: different hedgerow management techniques have an effect on the diversity and population size of different bird species.
