The aim of this study was to explore if there was a difference in the earthworm populations and biomass between three different farming systems. The three farming systems used was an intensive dairy farm, a conventional suckler beef farm and an organic suckler farm all located in County Cavan. There were three fields tested on each farm for earthworm samples.
